Charley Olena leads an advocacy team that brings legislative leaders and advocates together to build trust in our elections and protect voter access. Among other states, Charley works with an emphasis in Kentucky.

Diego Echeverri

Director of Advocacy

Diego Echeverri brings legislative leaders and advocates together to build trust in our elections and protect voter access, with an emphasis in Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, and West Virginia.

Evan Preston

Director of Advocacy

Evan Preston brings legislative leaders and advocates together to build trust in our elections and protect voter access, with an emphasis in Connecticut, Georgia, Montana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.

Peter Skopec

Daniel Griffith

Senior Director of Policy

Daniel develops strategic and state-specific policy solutions that build trust in our elections with a focus on policies that enjoy broad bipartisan support and protect the freedom to vote. Daniel leads Secure Democracy’s state work in Florida and Texas.

Samantha Buckley

Communications

Amanda Harrington

Vice President of Communications

Amanda oversees all internal, external, and digital advocacy communications for the organization, as well as the engagement of external allies and stakeholders.

Jay Riestenberg

Director of Communications

Jay creates and leads strategic communications programs to improve our elections for all Americans, with a focus on message development, media outreach, content creation, and digital advocacy.

Jet Vanderlee

Digital Campaigns Manager

Jet plans, implements and supports digital campaigns as a facet of Secure Democracy’s advocacy work to build trust in our elections and protect voter access for all Americans. Their work focuses on development of audiences and messaging, creative content direction and dynamic digital tactics.

Will Soltero

Press Secretary

Will leads earned media work underpinning Secure Democracy’s mission to improve our elections for all Americans, providing additional support on strategic communications.
